MISSION
The mission of Film Don’t Lie Basketball is to provide evidence-based teaching to all Basketball players. FDL Owner Jordan Newman spends hours studying film and researching motor learning to make sure everything is being taught in the most efficient manner possible. This is a very open-minded and creative environment that will constantly be evolving to the new trends of the game. Jordan believes strongly in both the physical and mental side in improving his players performance. We want all of our players to have no regrets about the way they trained and to enjoy our sessions. We accomplish this by teaching you to not only work hard but more importantly work smart and efficiently.

About Jordan
Jordan is a Player Development Coach for anybody who is serious about getting better. Jordan graduated Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL where he was a member of the 2015 Illinois State Championship team. That team included New York Knicks Guard Jalen Brunson. Jordan next played 4 years of College Basketball at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wi and was named Team Captain for his Junior and Senior seasons. Following his playing career Jordan moved into coaching. He spent the next 2 seasons as an Assistant Coach at University Wisconsin-Parkside. The lessons learned as State champion playing daily with the likes of Jalen Brunson, being captain of his College team, and then being an Assistant Coach at the College level have all helped in forming Jordan’s philosophies and training methods.

Jordan’s attention to detail is one of a kind. He watches a ton of film on his clients and prepares his workout based on what needs to improve, while still focusing on sharpening the skills you are best at. His knowledge of the game is amazing!
